Book 2 in the Winners Inc series ~ more enjoyable when read after All In.
Jules and Danny
Jules is a lawyer and going up against her biological father, who she has no contact with, on a case.
Danny is having trouble standing up to his father and seeks out the help of Jamie atĀ Winner’s IncĀ when he runs into Jules in the hallway doing the same. They have an instant attraction, but it’s hard to build something when Danny is only in Chicago for a 2 week vacation. That doesn’t stop them from enjoying each other’s company while they have the chance though.
I loved that Danny has a non-profit for kids, which shows that while he might look like a bad boy on the outside he’s really sweet on the inside. Jules is confident and honest. They seem to have come into each other’s lives at the perfect time.
I’m so excited that Lottie had her own chapters as she really made this book for me. She is what I aspire to be when I am 80, not the old frump I feel like I’ll be. She’s spicy, sassy, carefree and full of life. I can’t wait to read what happens next with her.
Overall, I liked this one slightly less than All In, but I’m looking forward to the next installment following Didier.
