ARC Review: Forever Yours by Jessica Ruddick

My review: 4.5⭐

Yay for book 3 in the In Tune series ~ one of my favorites in the music trope.

Ali is competing on a reality competition show Sing Battle with her friend Georgia. While they are out celebrating before the show begins she meets Trenton. They have an instant connection and end up in his hotel room.

Trenton was formally in the boy band Misdirection. When they broke up each member went their own way. He accepts a gig to help, Evan, his former band-mate, who is the host of the show. He wasn’t expecting his one night stand to be a contestant that he has to work closely with to help her win it all.

Ali knows she’s super talented, but really needs this opportunity to break out into the music business. She can’t let Trenton become a distraction. Their chemistry is undeniable, so how can she resist him when he makes leaning against a wall look so good?

Georgia is a great supporting character and I really enjoyed their friendship. She was, also, super sweet to Walter.

I love that Jessica brings old characters, Gabe and Leah, from book 1 into the mix to give us a check in on how they’re doing. I really love Jessica’s writing style and I never want this series to end.

*Thanks to Jessica Ruddick and Booksprout for the ARC. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review*

Back to you ~ Worth the Risk ~ Forever Yours

Book blurb: Release date ~ July 14, 2022

It’s a time for firsts—my first time in California, my first time as a contestant on Sing Battle, and my first one-night stand with none other than Trenton Mazer, certified rock star. So what if I panic and flee from his bed in the early morning hours? I was never going to see him again anyway.

Imagine my surprise when he turns out to be my celebrity partner on Sing Battle. Our chemistry is undeniable, but I have too much on the line to be distracted.

It’s hard to make it as a musician, and the chances of forever love with a rock star seem even more impossible. But Trenton is determined to prove me wrong.
