ARC Review: Billionaire’s Blackmail by Rachel Cook

Billionaire's Blackmail

My review: 4 ā

This is Book 3 in the series.

Blackwell and Harper do have one messed up marriage, but to each their own. Blackwell has a much more sweet side shown in this part of their story. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still his usual controlling, hot and cold self. Harper is still Harper, but annoying at times.
As always, I love the dual point of view writing. I, also, get excited when I see a town and county mentioned that I actually know because I grew up there.
I did find some parts predictable and repetitive, but all in all, the final installment in this trilogy wrapped up nicely.

Book 1 ~ Billionaire’s Proposal

Book 2 ~ Billionaire’s Secret

Book blurb:

A blackmailed brideā€¦and a husband lost to the darkness.

Harper is blackmailed into leaving the man she loves; itā€™s the only way to save her lifeā€”and her sisterā€™sā€”now her secret past has caught up with her. To save him, though, she must sacrifice everything.

Even her soul.

Blackwell needs Harper to save his tech empire, and without her holding up her end of their original contract that led to them falling in love, his world will fall apart.

But what happens when believing all her lies puts everything heā€™s fought to build in more danger than ever?

If they can form a team to beat this against them, they might be able to salvage their loveā€¦but only if they survive against the odds.
