My review:
Pippa narrates in the now and then. Pippa is known as the helper and husband Gabe the hero since he’s saved 7 suicidal people from taking their life near their house that sits on a cliff. Until he doesn’t save one…in steps Amanda as she narrates in the before and after, but talking as if dead ~ what’s up with that? Not sure, but it worked well to slowly reveal, in a fast paced way, all the secrets and betrayal.
Sally is quite the storyteller giving us some nice twists. I was kept engaged and was able to bust it out at 2x in just one day.
Narration:
Barrie Kreinik, Jessica Douglas-Henry ~ 7 hours 44 minutes ~ both did a fine job.
Side note ~ this is one of my favorite covers.
*Thanks to Sally Hepworth, St Martin’s Press, Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for the ARC and audio copy. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review*

Book blurb:
Get ready for a thrilling, addictive novel about marriage, betrayal, and the secrets that push us to the edge in Sally Hepworth’s The Soulmate.
There’s a cottage on a cliff. Gabe and Pippa’s dream home in a sleepy coastal town. But their perfect house hides something sinister. The tall cliffs have become a popular spot for people to end their lives. Night after night Gabe comes to their rescue, literally talking them off the ledge. Until he doesn’t.
When Pippa discovers Gabe knew the victim, the questions spiral…Did the victim jump? Was she pushed?
And would Gabe, the love of Pippa’s life, her soulmate…lie? As the perfect facade of their marriage begins to crack, the deepest and darkest secrets begin to unravel.
