My review:
A collection of 50 poems all about different ideas of what love is ~ young love to married love to a Motherās love to forbidden love.
While I did not connect with all of the poems, there was a good variety that made for a quick read. I can tell that the author put a lot of effort into writing them.

Book blurb:
Poet Mahiraj Jadeja has a new collection of 50 poems entitled A Lover’s Will. The work covers all aspects of love, from the first questioning ‘What is Love’ through poems praising women and lovers to unrequited love. The interaction of lovers who are past the first flush of love, are comfortable in each others company and have an instinctive almost telepathic understanding of each other is explored in ‘As Expected’. In the poem ‘Suicide’, the tragedy of a love across a religious divide is sensitively explored. ‘Roles of a Lady’ shows the three types of love in a woman’s life and ‘A Mother’s Wish’ speaks of the one love a dying woman is yearning for.

My review:
This is the love story of Shiv and Mahira who met in college and instantly fell in love. They come from different religions, Hindu and Muslim. They must keep their relationship a secret because itās unorthodox for them to be together.
A super quick story (11 pages) that was a heartbreaking look at how society is not always accepting of what differs from the beliefs that they are accustomed to.

Book blurb:
āLove Zindabad Not Jihadā is a story covering aspects of Love, Emotion and Spirituality through words. The story leaves its readers with a relatively intense emotional yet naive foray into love, and does it in a manner which is both pure and intense. The Love story of Shiv and Mahira is going through problems of religious divide. Will they succeed in Love despite the difference in their religion, what will be the reaction from the society, will they able to define what true love and religion is?
