Review: Hate to Love the Inspector by Elsie Woods

My Review: 3.75 ā

Another clean, sweet, slow burn story from Ms. Woods. Amelia has a one track mind – get into vet school without any distractions. Rob starts off as quite the cocky inspector that thinks “all my demands must be met, or else!” After he starts hanging out with Amelia we see the sweet, caring side to this guy. His boss puts him in a situation that you just hope he does the right thing.
I liked Amelia and Rob’s story well enough, but I didn’t like that she ran herself ragged with all the studying and second guessing herself. And as always, I do love reading about the dogs though.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.Ā

Book Blurb:

If there ever was the perfect example of an arrogant, cocky, selfish son of gun, itā€™s Inspector Buckley.

I thought things were moving along well with my job as a groomer of naughty puppies at the Dogā€™s Paw Dog Spa. The more troublesome the furball, the better!

Sure, things were a bit stressful with the upcoming entry exam for vet school, and Auntie hasnā€™t been doing well, but all of that was nothing compared to now.

Inspector Buckley waltzed into the Dogā€™s Paw Dog Spa and everything has gone upside down.

Never mind vet school, I might end up in jail for sticking this manā€™s head under a fur-fluffer before the day is out.

But then again, thereā€™s something stirring under that tough exterior, if only he would let it show a little moreā€¦

And if he does, what then? Iā€™ve got everything riding on these next two weeks with the entry exam to vet school. Iā€™ve given up so much to get here. Am I really ready to risk all of that for a hunk of Colorado love?

Hate to Love the Inspector and the puppy antics of the Dogā€™s Paw Dog Spa will have you giggling and swooning. Because puppy love and puppies are one of the worldā€™s greatest combinations!

Enjoy this happy ending with a dose of furball madness.

I'd love to hear your thoughts
