My review:

Hannah (24) is doing well in therapy and just trying to live her life 10 years after she escaped a serial killer and earned the title Lucky Number 11. Hannah Allen is a name that practically everyone has heard of, but now even more so that there is copycat killer. She’s right back in the spotlight, a place she has no desire to be.

I’m thrilled that we had some chapters from Conrad, the detective back then and still today. I found him to be a great detective and I liked how protective he was of Hannah. There are some chapters from the killer to keep you guessing, too.

I was hoping the copycat killer wouldn’t turn out to be who I thought it might be, so I was pleasantly surprised with who it was since I didn’t see it coming. Can’t say I liked the reasoning they did what they did, but I suppose that’s how psychopaths minds work.

Overall, a well written, engaging and suspenseful story. It was fast paced with non stop action. I enjoyed my first book by this author and look forward to reading more.

*Thanks to the author, Kingsley Publishers and NetGalley for the ARC. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review*

I was able to listen to an audio copy as well.
Narration notes:
Her regular voice was fine, but I was not feeling her other character voices. She tried, though, she really did, but some were not great at all and really grated on my ears. She was properly frantic, so that helped with what was happening with the character.

Book blurb:

When Hannah Allen was fourteen years old, she was abducted by an elusive serial killer, Peter Harris. Intended to be his eleventh victim, she was his only survivor.

Ten years later, therapy and friendship have helped Hannah overcome the trauma of her past.

But then a body is found. A body bearing eerily similar injuries to Peterā€™s victims, complete with the numerical brand he forced upon his captives.

Soon it becomes clear that somewhere, someone is continuing Peterā€™s work.

Somewhere, someone wants Hannah dead.

Can she survive a serial killer twice, or has her luck finally run out?
