My review:

Austin (30) & Holly (30)
Austin’s twin sisters are set to graduate high school, so it’s time for him to move on from Lake Starlight. He, along with sister, Savannah, have been raising their 7 siblings for 9 years since the untimely passing of their parents. He’s ready to make his own dreams comes true, but when his one night stand turns out to be his new boss that might just put a damper on his long awaited plans.

Holly has taken the short term position as the principal while she searches for the father that abandoned her when she was a baby. Will it be the reunion she is hoping for, or will that one night stand have her staying in town longer than she anticipated?

Their attempts to sneak around didn’t go so well because Lake Starlight is a small town like no other. It has it’s own blog called Buzz Wheel where you can bet all your gossip will be posted. My nosy ass would like to read it, but I would hate it if I lived there and it was about me. However, I’m super boring, so I’m sure I wouldn’t make it in it anyway 😂

Overall, their chemistry was on point, along with their banter. On to the next in the series Advice from a Jilted Bride, which will follow the next sibling, Brooklyn.

Narration notes:
Both did a fab job.

I’d love to hear your thoughts if you’ve read it.

Book blurb:

If you’re a guy like me, and you find yourself having banged your sexy new boss —the school principal — in the back of your Jeep one drunken night, here’s a few takeaways based on my experience…

Lesson One: always get her FULL name.

Lesson Two: consider asking what she does for a living.

Lesson Three: find out why she’s moved to town. Get details. Details are crucial.

Lesson Four: don’t alter her bio in front of an auditorium of high school students unless you know she has a sense of humor for that sort of thing.

Lesson Five: if you ignore Lesson Four, apologize instead of flirt when you’re sent to the principal’s office.

Lesson Six: NEVER sleep with her again.

Lesson Seven: pay attention to this one, it’s the most important of them all.
Don’t fall for your one-night stand.

Class dismissed.
