My review:
There are a bunch of characters to keep track of, but our 2 main ones are: Sarah ~ a service manager in social care and Adam ~ an officer that works cases involving pedophiles, or ‘kiddie fiddlers’, which was a term used often. I felt they, along with their crew, did a great job investigating the deaths. I could tell the author is knowledgeable in the field of social care.
The format took me some time to get used to and it made the book seem longer than it was ~ the dialogue is right in the middle of paragraphs. Overall, I liked this one as much as one could like reading about these horrible things. Some of the circumstances these young, 10-14 year old, children are being raised in just broke my mama heart. Everything is wrapped up, but we have a set up for the next book in the series Bedding Down.
