ARC Review: The Billionaire’s Back-Up Wife by Kaylee Monroe

My review: 4.5ā

Billionaire, Jackson Goodman, needs to get married in order to have his trust fund released by his father. As a joke, his brother, Chase, sets him up on a new dating app.
ForeverLuv was created by Felicity Wright. When Jackson tries to convince Felicity to remove his profile, she makes him an offer he can’t refuse.

The dual point of view writing really shows what a true sweetheart Jackson is, even though he puts on a hard exterior since being burned by love before. But can he really find his “Mrs. Wright?”

Another quick, easy, sweet yet steamy read by Monroe. This is my 8th book by her and she never disappoints. I’m excited to read Chase’s book next.

Book blurb:

Most eligible billionaire bachelor is looking for a wife . . .

When my father locked down my trust fund until I found a wife, my brother thought it would be funny to add my profile to a new matchmaking app that caused me nothing but headaches and frustration. Romance gave me hives and I had every reason NOT to believe in love, but as a billionaire, and the cityā€™s most eligible bachelor that every woman wanted, Iā€™d now become the face of ForeverLuv.

Yes, a frenzy ensued, and I had no time or patience for the insanity.

Deleting my profile proved impossible, so I paid a visit to the woman who owned the business and demanded she remove me. I didnā€™t expect her to stand up to me and flat-out refuse . . . I was a man used to snapping his fingers and people jumping to obey, but this vixen didnā€™t budgeā€”because I was the reason why her waning business was now thriving, and it wasnā€™t her fault that my idiot brother pulled the prank.

So thatā€™s when I struck a deal with the curvy, sexy matchmaker . . . find me a suitable, compatible wife in one weekā€™s time so I could recover my trust fund, and Iā€™d invest in her barely surviving software company. Fail to find me a bride to meet my standards, and sheā€™d have to stand in as my back-up wife.

I swore Iā€™d never fall in love . . . but then again, Iā€™d never met a woman like Felicity Wright. It only took me a string of disastrous dates to figure it out.

I'd love to hear your thoughts
