My review: 4.35⭐
I’ve had this one just chilling on my kindle since January and I’m a little mad at myself for waiting so long to read it.
This one starts off with a heartbreaking, yet intriguing, prologue when someone is killed.
I love when my books are told in multiple POV’s and this one follows Paige, Cora and Georgia who all live in the same ritzy neighborhood in Oregon.
Paige is having a tough time after her son, Caleb, is killed. It’s been ruled an accident, but she’s convinced it was murder and she’s suspecting everyone in their gated community. She’s quite the sneaky one.
Cora suspects her husband of 22 years, Finn, of cheating. Paige offers to help her see if it’s true. Cora is, also, somewhat obsessed with trying to hang out with Georgia.
Georgia met Lucas while he was visiting his parents abroad. They quickly fell in love, married and she moved to the states with him. She suffered a traumatic experience and only goes as far as her front porch with her baby, Avery, which is becoming suspicious to her neighbors.
These 3 ladies eventually create a bond and work together to bring justice for a couple different scenarios. There were some exciting twists I didn’t see coming.
Most of the characters were likable, except the ones we obviously weren’t supposed to like. My favorite was Grant.
This was a well executed gripping domestic suspense thriller. I haven’t read this author before, but I would be thrilled to read her work again.
TW ~ cheating, domestic abuse, gaslighting

The perfect neighborhood can be the perfect place to hide…
Who wouldn’t want to live in Brighton Hills? This exclusive community on the Oregon coast is the perfect mix of luxury and natural beauty. Stunning houses nestle beneath mighty Douglas firs, and lush backyards roll down to the lakefront. It’s the kind of place where neighbors look out for one another. Sometimes a little too closely…
Cora thinks her husband, Finn, is cheating—she just needs to catch him in the act. That’s where Paige comes in. Paige lost her son to a hit-and-run last year, and she’s drowning in the kind of grief that makes people do reckless things. Like spying on the locals, searching for proof that her son’s death was no accident. And agreeing to Cora’s plan to reveal what kind of man Finn really is. All the while, their reclusive new neighbor, Georgia, is acting more strangely every day. But what could such a lovely young mother possibly be hiding?
When you really start to look beyond the airy open floor plans and marble counters, Brighton Hills is filled with secrets. Some big, some little, some deadly. And one by one, they’re about to be revealed…
