šŸŽ§ ARC Review: The Amendment by Kiersten Modglin

My review: 4 secretive ā

Definitely be sure the read The Arrangement  before this one or youā€™ll be totally lost

This continuation of Ainsley and Peterā€™s story was a thrilling ride. They have quite an interesting marriage thatā€™s for sure. More secrets are flying all around ~ can they really trust each other?
I think there was supposed to be a shocking twist, but honestly I found that part to be predictable.
Iā€™m glad we have the same narrators again, since they do a stellar job sucking us into the story.

I am usually not a fan of cliffhangers, but in this case I quite liked it (I didnā€™t see that part coming, but I probably shouldā€™ve) and I hope we donā€™t have to wait too long for the next installment.

This was quick paced and I recommend for thriller, suspense fans.

*Thanks to Netgally, Dreamscape Media and Kiersten Modglin for the advance audiobook. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review*

Book blurb: Release date ~ February 1, 2022

The dark, scandalous, and completely twisted sequel to Kiersten Modglinā€™s #1 bestselling domestic thriller, THE ARRANGEMENTā€¦

First, there was the arrangement.
A simple, yet salacious fix to the problems looming in their marriage.
But when things took a tragic turn, Peterā€™s and Ainsleyā€™s lives quickly fell into disarray.

Now, their secrets have been exposed.
They know the truthā€”about each other and their marriage.
As they struggle to move on from their past and the damage theyā€™ve caused, new problems begin to surface.

Someone they love is hiding a catastrophic secret. The fragile ground they stand on is starting to crumble. Their family is being torn apart at the seams. And, maybe worst of all, a threat from the past is lurking, ready to unveil the things theyā€™d kill to keep hidden.

They thought the nightmare theyā€™d made it through was over, but the worst is just beginningā€¦

Once, they vowed to do anything to make their marriage work.
Now, that vow will push every boundary they have left.

In order to survive, theyā€™ll need to completely trust each other.
But can they?
Last time they did, things went terribly wrongā€¦
This time, it might be worse.
If thereā€™s one thing thatā€™s certain, their secrets are too big to let anyone walk away alive.
