Review: Faking Christmas Love at the Doggy Spa by Elsie Woods

My Review: 4.5 ā

This was super cute and fun! You gotta love a fake romance…They inevitably start to fall for each other, but are too afraid to say something in case the other isn’t feeling it, but eventually it all works out. I love the dual pov, especially when Tom talks to himself like he’s an old fart at twenty-nine.
If you’re looking for a sweet, clean as a whistle, fake relationship book set in Christmastime with a side of dogs, then look no further.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Book Blurb:

It’s Christmas. She needs a date. He needs love.
Christmas. No time for playing around with romance. Give me a break. Iā€™m a woman working my way up in the corporate world!

The only man in my life is Cornelius. My sausage dog. He goes with me everywhere, which really means that I accompany him everywhere.

Including to the vet, Dr. Chamberlain.

About Dr. Chamberlainā€¦ If ever there was a rugged dog lover hunk of man that just might make me change my mind about Christmas loveā€¦

No. I donā€™t have time. Or patience. Or the right disposition for romance.

But it is Christmas, and as an event manager Iā€™ve got soirees coming out of my ears. Events where Iā€™m supposed to bring a plus oneā€¦

Heā€™s a perfect fake date. And if I look at him with longing eyes, thatā€™s all just part of the plan, right?
ā€¦Right?

This Christmas stuff is making me feel funny.

Cornelius, do not bite Santa! Iā€™ll give you a treatā€¦

Faking Christmas Love at the Doggy Spa is a quick read that will warm your heart with giggles this season. Because puppy love and puppies are one of the worldā€™s greatest combinations!

Start the series with this novella and come to love the antics of Tom, Claire, and four-legged Cornelius!
