My review:
Manipulation madness!
Obviously us readers knew what was going down, but you can’t help but feel bad for Sam. Poor, sweet, blind Sam.
So it’s told in the 3rd person by Sam and Joyce (Sam’s grandma) and there are some letters written in the 1st person by Naomi (Sam’s ex) and Miranda (Sam’s best friend/coworker) is 1st personing us too. It started off slow for me, but the pace flowed along nicely and before I knew it I was fully engaged and ready for the conclusion.
Overall, I did not care for all the pandemic talk, but this was on point as a psychological thriller. There were some suspenseful moments towards the end. This is my second winner from this author and I’ll be back for more thrilling rides.

The next day he calls. His voice is shaking. He wants the truth. Is it his child?
You hesitate, your throat dry, good and bad memories swirling in your mind. Youāve missed him so muchā¦ but can you ever trust him again?
