My Review:
A flirty field goal + a sweet safety = 5 sizzling stars Touchdown for Team Miradam!!! I loved Mira and Adam’s story so much! Sports romance is one of my favorites and this one does not disappoint! However, do not be deterred if you do not like football because it is not overly footbally at all. I have a crink in my neck today because I killed the battery on my kindle and just couldn’t wait for it too charge, so I had to read on my side while it was plugged in with the shortest cord on the planet. Totally worth it though! I did not want to stop reading. I just had to know how it would end, although I wish it didn’t. The way Adam seems shy at times is adorable. There were times I wanted chapters on Adam’s point of view, but in the end I felt it was written exactly how it should have been. One tiny complaint is that the words murmured and muttered were used excessively in my opinion. If you like a fake relationship between a gorgeous celebrity couple that you just can’t help but root for, then put this on your list now. |
Book Blurb:
How could I be falling for my fake boyfriendâŠ.
It was probably the dimple.
Or it could have been the broad, finely honed, chiseled, muscular chest- the one that was so perfectly sculpted it would have made Michaelangelo rethink his inspiration for David.
Or maybe it was the ass so tight a quarter would bounce off and cause bodily harm as it ricocheted away like a deranged boomerang.
Crap!
Focus, Mira!
Whatever it was that drew me to him like an innocent moth being led to a flaming death, I needed to figure it out, and fast!
I could not be falling for the man who insulted me the first night we met. How was I supposed to spend the next six months pretending to be the girlfriend of the arrogant star quarterback who managed to weasel his way under my skin?
Our arrangement was supposed to be easy.
Mutually beneficial.
Temporary.
Like glorified strangers orbiting in each other’s presence.
The famous model on the arm of the drool worthy football player.
A terrible cliché.
Nothing more.
I hadnât anticipated my reaction to him…
To his body.
To the little jokes I couldnât help but laugh at.
To the tiny dimple at the corner of his mouth that I wanted to kiss every time it winked at me.
Crap, I needed to figure out how to stop this false relationship before it even had a chance to start…
