My review:
Stella has entered a contest to try to save a Christmas tree farm. The only problem is is that she said she owns the place with her boyfriend, but there is no boyfriend. Stella and Luka have been best friends for years, so what could go wrong when she asks him if he’ll be her fake boyfriend in order to win the prize money?
This was a really cute and delightful debut. Stella bugged me for a minute at the end there, but it all worked out just as we knew it would. The epilogue was a nice addition with Luka’s perspective. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this series.
Narrated by Pippa Jayne for 10 hours and 16 minutes, easy to follow at 2x. Not overly in love with her male voice, but I’ve heard worse over the years.

Book blurb:
Where the lovelight gleams ā¦
A pasture of dead trees. A hostile takeover of the Santa barn by a family of raccoons. And shipments that have mysteriously gone missing. Lovelight Farms is not the magical winter wonderland of Stella Bloomās dreams.
In an effort to save the Christmas tree farm sheās loved since she was a kid, she enters a contest with instafamous influencer Evelyn St. James. With the added publicity and the $100,000 cash prize, she might just be able to save the farm from its financial woes. Thereās just one problem. To make the farm seem like a romantic destination for the holidays, she lied on the application and said she owns Lovelight Farms with her boyfriend. Only ā¦ there is no boyfriend.
Enter best friend Luka Peters. He just came home for some hot chocolate, and somehow got a farm and a serious girlfriend in the process.
