🎉Fun Friday🎉

On Friday’s I will post a fun read.

🍑Today’s pick: Peaches Monroe’s Diary – Complete box set by Angie Pepper 🍑

My review:

I really enjoyed this entire series. Each installment was fast paced, witty, sometimes predictable and an all around fun read. Straight talking Peaches is my kinda gal. Her honesty, humor and quick wit throughout her journey to figure out her life made the pages keep on turning. There was a good body positivity message as well. I wish there was one more chapter wrapping everything up neatly with a bow. Overall this a definite recommend for fans of romcom.

Book Blurbs:

Handful of Peaches: Book 1

It was just another Saturday at the bookstore when Dalton Deangelo, the famous actor, came running in to hide from the press.

We clicked instantly. I fell for him because I’d always loved him… as the sexy vampire he played on my favorite TV show. And he fell for me because… I don’t know why.

I didn’t have a date for my cousin’s wedding, so he asked if he could tag along. I figured why not? I was just a regular, curvy girl who ran a bookstore, not a perfectly-trim actress. Everyone would know he was just doing me a favor.

Well, we went to the wedding, and my whole family loved him. Especially my mother.

After our date, I thanked Dalton for giving his number one fan a memorable night. To my surprise, he said we weren’t done yet. He muttered something about “research,” and proceeded to sweep me off my feet.

What happened next was the stuff of Hollywood headlines.

We’re talking scandal after scandal after scandal!

Now I’m at the center of it all, running around in my underwear.

Whole Lotta Peaches: Book 2

After my now-famous escapades with a famous actor, I’m trying to get back to my regular life.

Someone from my past is shaking things up, in a good way.

Back in high school, I was deeply, madly, desperately in love with Adrian Stromquist.

Now Adrian is all grown up and more appealing than ever.

I’ve resisted him for a while, but I don’t know how much longer I can last. We have history, and we share a big secret.

Adrian is hard to resist. He’s so tall, blonde, and sexy. Goodness knows I’m not made of stone.

Will Adrian and I be able to make it work this time around?

And can we withstand the next Hollywood scandal, which is coming any minute now?

Everything is Peaches: Book 3

I’m no longer just a regular girl working at a bookstore. Now I’m a curvy underwear model, starring in a huge international campaign.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy all the attention. Maybe I am cut out for a life of fame.

One thing that isn’t going as planned is my love life.

On the one hand, I’ve got Adrian Stromquist. He’s basically the boy next door. He’s tall, blonde, and thinks he knows everything. Our relationship goes all the way back to high school, and when our connection is good, it’s very good.

On the other hand, there’s Dalton Deangelo. He’s a famous Hollywood actor. He’s dark-haired, charismatic, and only has eyes for me. We barely know each other, but when we’re together, everything else disappears.

I’m caught between two amazing guys, and it’s tearing me apart.

The last thing I need is another giant bombshell straight out of Hollywood.

And yet, here it comes.

Jocko Ranger, the action star hero beloved by everyone’s mom, has come to town.

I have a bad feeling about this. Everything that’s been simmering is about to blow up.

Peaches on Top: Book 4

So, here I am in LA, shacked up with Dalton Deangelo. This gorgeous man is either the love of my life or my greatest mistake.

I get homesick sometimes, but I keep finding new ways to get into trouble here, and that keeps me busy.

Now all I need to do is wrap up a few lingering issues from my old life. I need to return the car I stole, and I really need to finally break up with Adrian for good

But before I do that, there’s something else that’s caught my eye. I’m not sure if it’s a bold career move or my second big mistake of the new year, but I have to give it a shot.

My peachy personality has gotten me this far, so why not shoot for the moon?

I just hope Dalton will be able to live with me at all, let alone happily ever after.

I'd love to hear your thoughts
